|This is a picture of the back of a Shimano BMX single speed cassette freehub body. Does this look compatible with a Shimano DA or Ultegra rear hub? In other words, I'd like to remove the 9 speed freehub body and install the single speed BMX freehub. Re-spacing the rear hub is no problem.|

|but without calipers and the piece, I can't say for sure.
Part of me would say they'd standardize something like that, but then I think about Shimano's lack of standardization through the years, and I can't be sure.
What's the cost for that piece? If it's low, try it out. If it seems high, chances are good you could buy the entire BMX hub for less, as seems to be the case for their 8/9 speed freehub bodies.

|Thanks. It's real cheap. I might try it anyway. The BMX cassette cogs are the same spline and diameter as the road so hopefully, the freehub body is the same. I going to try it. Thanks for your imput.... Don't worry, I won't blame you if it doesn't work:-)|

|Looks the same, but that said the retaining bolt may be different. Make sure that there is no endplay.|| |
