Steel wool to clean rims?harcourt

What grade works best? Will super fine 0000 do it? Thanks for help.

I use superfine sandpaper, the kind mounted on foam, or Scotchbrite pads. A rag and 3M adhesive cleaner works pretty well, too.

to remove rubber deposits and dirt, without scratching the braking surface.
