Has anyone heard about Shimano STI levers without all the heavy computerized bull &%#$ inside of it, or know of a way to remove that extra crap ?I've never heard of or seen anyone ever use it !
Go pre-Flight Deck ;)filtersweep

Aren't there just a few buttons in there?

Of course, there ARE pre- flight deck shifters, although they are probably even heavier? It will give you that retro look... or go all the way with downtube shifters.
Yes...I have them. You can get the non-Flight Deck...PsyDoc

If if's only 30g's, ( I don't know the actual weight difference)why not get some titanium pits (nuts & bolts etc) It's just a suggestion!!!!
It means that you still have the option of the computer stuff later on!!!!!
