Water in Ksyrium SL(4 posts)

Water in Ksyrium SLanzoni

During my last ride in terrible rain, I've noticed there was some water in the rims. How do you get the water out? Is there a hole somewhere or a any other good tip!
They are otherwise fitted with GP3000 and supersonic tubes. Would it be easier if I pulled some air out of them?

Removing or deflating the tire won't matter, unless there is no other drainhole, and you need the valve hole to drain them (no spoke holes). I seem to recall there is a small drain hole, though, but I could be thinking of my Nucleons.

Had the same problem after 4 hours in driving rain. I took the tire and tube off to drain the water. Good opportunity to inspect things closely.

Swing the wheel around so valve is pointed down.
Let wheel sit with valve down.
Let air out of tire.
Peel tire back and watch water pour out.
