Looking for some additional info on this new seatpost. Phantom are you still using it? Where to find it? Anyone else trying it out? Looks like a winner to me. Pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for. Do I need to get it from Euro distributor? Stability (side to side and front to back) issue on a compact frame? I am on the high side weight-wise, 170 lbs. I think you said that's an issue Phantom. Thanks in advance for any reviews and pertinent info.
I have seen a Ram postthe Phantom

I have seen a Ram seatpost in a shop in England last month. Thought about it for a matching pair for my Ram bar/stem (this is what I have and reviewed). The price was a choking $350...gasp! Granted, it can be had for much less when available here in the US but still waaay too much. I do not think it will be long enough for a compact frame, it is only slightly longer than a regular seatpost. The Ram seatpost certainly looked cool but money is better spent on something else like the bar and stem.

Post your e-mail address and I will send a nice picture of a Ram post on a bike. Judge for yourself then. This is the one seen in England for an obscene price.
sounds good...I'd like to see itnealrab

Thanks for the response Phantom. I don't know why I thought it was the seat post you were using. I know it was new back in April or so. I thought I saw a pricetag somewhere around $250. Still pretty outrageous. $350 is definitely scary. I'm not worth that with my ability level (or lack thereof). Anyway, I'm Thanks again for the info. Guess no one's found it yet here or it's just too expensive for anyone to afford.

It is at Cbike in chicago. They are only asking 199 for it, what a steal.

Thanks for the link spooky, you're right what a grab at $200, give me 3 please. But it's better than the $350 Phantom saw in Europe recently! I'm sure it's a nice quality post, probably not for compact frames. Appreciate the lead though. Most helpful!
