The conversion cassettes don't work well with King freehubs. American Classic says theirs is not compatible with King hubs... Wheels Manufacturing says theirs will work, but King says they don't. I guess it's up to you to try it and tell us.

If you haven't built the wheels yet, don't get the Kings, get a Hugi 240. It works with conversion cassettes, but I am pretty sure there is a Campy version of it too. It's as light as the King, and just as nice. But it doesn't come in all the cool colors the King does.

The Wheels Manufacturing conversion works perfectly with the King hub, I've had this set up for over three years and love it. I use a Campy chain with it too.

Are you running 10-speed? Thanks.

No, I'm running the older 9spd rear derailleur with the different parallelogram, don't think that would matter though. I don't believe they have come out with the 10spd yet. I even have a wheel that I use strictly for the trainer and it is a Shim. with the same cog and I make the changer over in seconds with no adjustments at all.
