I assume because it hasn't yet shipped no one here has tried it. But it looks interesting...

Thoughts?

I like the idea--I've wondered why nobody's used modern materials to make a light, ventilated saddle, with something like a superstrength mesh (think window screen) slung like a tight hammock. Wish the website had more details, though.
it's in the latest Performance Catalogbigdeal

stupidest idea i've ever heard of. that much elasticity in a seat is like riding a shock post on a road bike....all the energy is transferred into bouncing ..which come to think of it would generally increase chafing and sores

I've been following the progress of this saddle since it seems really promising to me. Apparently the production versions have not worked as the material stretches too much and you contact the hard plastic frame (ugh!). They now don't recomment it for riders over 200lbs. Another trial production run is set for this week and if it works they'll be in production. One positive review in bikemag - http://www.bikemag.com/gear/saddleco/ Other media have been waiting for samples to test.
