Does anyone know the difference between the older (CT2) and newer stlye Easton carbon seat post?
Is there a noticable weight difference?
Is the clamp better?
Thanks

Carbon is the same, the clamp is different. It has a bit more setback and is a single bolt design instead of the unusual clamp they had before.

I had the head snap off while riding. Scared the hell out of me; huge bang when it snapped off. It looked like poor manufacturing; not much epoxy holding the head to the post.

I replaced it with a Deda Blackstick and have had no problems so far.

Holy-S@%T!
That sounds terrifying!
I had a MTB aquaintance have a saddle break & the resulting injury was ugly.
I can only imagine what might have have happened if you were on a steep descent !
Thanks for the input!
