|Where can I get a Campy 12-25 8 spd cassette?||timwat|

|I didn't think they existed until I saw one on Ebay (which unfortunately I missed out on). I bought two 8 speed loose cog cassettes and tried to make a 12-26, but the smaller cogs are the wrong letter designation. Does anybody sell these things? I really like the 13-26 I have now, but I don't like how the 13 spins out quickly on downhills.

|What is your large chainring? Is it a 52 or 53? If it's a 52, for the price you are going to pay to get a new cassette, you may be able to find a 53 tooth chainring instead.
However, I can not find anywhere that stocks a Campy Exa-Drive 8 speed cassette in a 12-25 or 12-26 Campy makes a 12-23, 13-23, and 13-26.
You may be able to just swap the 12 tooth for the 13 tooth in your 13-26. You would just go from a 12 to a 14. Did you try that yet?
Otherwise all I can think to tell you is to try a 12-25 Shimano HG-70 cassette and respace it to Campy cog specs. (I think it will actually shift as well as Campy 8 shifts without respacing it, but that's another story...)
Otherwise, you should email the guy who was selling the cassette you saw on ebay and ask him if he has another or where he found it.
Best I can do for you,
