|I've got 4000 miles on my Race-Lites and my big 200lb a$$ has not put them out of true. I really like them.
Not to denigrate the Vector Comps, but the Bontragers are nice durable wheels.

|The Rolf Vector Comp is a wheel from approx. 2000 or earlier that is discontinued. The early Rolf's were made by Trek, not the current, independent, Rolf company. On top of that the "comp" model wasn't particularly light (1870g).
The Bontrager is a little better, newer, and lighter (1750g). It is still in production. Compared to the Vector Comp, Trek increased the spoke count and got rid of that rear hub with the big flange on the wrong side. They also used an offset spoke hole rear rim.
If those are your only choices, the Bontrager is the better pick. I have a pair I picked up used for $100, and they are good, strong wheels. -Dave

|thanks bikeviking and davelobster. i'm favoring the
bontrager race lites. they're a newer model wheel,
lighter and i've read about rear hub problems on
the rolfs. thanks for the info.
i'm a 140 lb rider and these will do just fine for now.
