|I was removing the chainrings from a Record crank and the bolt that screws directly into the back of the crank arm snapped off, leaving the threads still stuck in the crank. Any ideas on how to extract the threads from the hole? Or have I just destroyed a brand new $200 crank?

|All you need to do is drill out the center of the bolt and back it out with a tool called an "easy out," which is just a reverse threaded screw the will jam itself in the hole you drilled. Of course, you've already screwed this up, so let a machine shop fix it for you.|
