|Mavic Cosmos hub adjustment||Gonyoda|

Have a set of Mavic Cosmos wheels that came on my Bianchi Vigorelli. No instructions came with the bike, and can't find 'em on Mavic.com. They have a little side to side play that I need to adjust. Mavic's site says the wheels (retail I presume) come with instructions and an adjustment tool. I have neither.
Is it a matter of using an appropriate pin spanner and tightening it? If not, please enlighten me... I don't want to tear up my hubs doing it the wrong way.

|If you look on one side of the hub (I think it's the left), there are two small holes. The tool is just a plastic spanner wrench, and the adjustment requires no real force so a couple of toothpicks would probably work! Just tighten the hub by 1/8-1/4 turns until there is just a little play. If it's too tight you'll notice binding if you spin the wheel.|

|Also, adjust the hubs while the wheel is in the d/outs with the QR normally tight. These hubs are set up to be adjusted that way...
Leave just a wee tad of play. If in doubt, too loose by a tad is better than too tight by a tad...

|Thanks for that advice. I tried adjusting the hubs out of the drops, but nothing was happening. Then I put 'em in the drops and tightened just fine.
Cool design, IMO.
