Iam going to get some road shoes from nashbar this week.
I wanna try clips on my fixed gear bike and I alrady had these pedals. I plan on getting a better pair when I get my GT ZR 2.0 built.

Iam reluctant to use clips on my fixed gear only because its my main source of transportation and I think it would be a hassel to have to change shoes whenever I get to my destination. is there any compromie between the benefits or clips and a comfortable shoe that wont break the bank? The best I could think of would be a Vans BMX SPD shoe and a pair of mtn clips.

Whats the difference between SPD(R), SPD-R(R) ?
For now Ill keep my trusty 105 pedals get a pair of road shoes from nashbar to use on my GT when its done. Then in the mean time ill give them a go on my fixed gear I guess.

Thanks for the help AndrewL
