|I was curious to know if anyone has any experience/info on the calorie counter feature on the Sigma Sport PC14. I've read the instructions numerous times and have entered my weight and gender, but I can't seem to figure out what the first step in the set-up process is when the display shows 5 consecutive zero's. I've tried to play around with the buttons and I can only change the last 2 digits of the sequence, and the calories are only counted when I enter some numerical value (for what it is i don't know). I toyed around with entering my weight in Kg's but 1250 calories seemed a bit high while on the trainer for an hour (i weigh 75Kg and my average heart rate was 155). This sounds confusing but hopefully some Sigma Sport user out there has the answer. Thanks|

|I have the same HRM, I never use the calory function. However I remember in the instruction manual, it says "the calories burnt with same HR is different depend on the sport.." They have a bunch of number(coefficient?) listed in the manual. I lost the manual, but I think the number for medium intensity bike riding is 80, try that.
If you can find the manual somewhere(their website?), you might find your answer..

|your right on--thanks. the sigma website has high intensity cycling listed at 17 miles/hour, with the numerical value setting at 80 just like you said. based on the average intesity setting at 55 (11mph), i figured a 20mph average would require a setting around 92-93. thanks for the tip..|| |
