|Will Zipp 303's make me "faster"?||MCJ|

|I have been debating upgrading my Vector Pro (clincher) wheelset to the 303's for the sole purpose of improving performance during fast group rides/races (25 mph average). Will I notice a significant difference? The weight difference is huge, in the order of 650 grams and probably 500 grams alone would be rotating weight. I hate to try and buy performance but I just have to think this wheelset would make it easier to bridge gaps, sprint, make a break, etc. Any similar experiences with this upgrade?|

|There not going to keep you from getting dropped if thats what you mean.
If you cant do it on the Rolfs the Zipps aint gonna help ya!

|Let's say you are climbing steep hill, and you get dropped 500 feet up the hill using your "old" wheels. Your heart rate is at 98%, maybe 180.
You put on Zipp tubulars and lightweight tires. Now, you'll hang on to maybe 510 feet, and still get dropped at 98% heart rate, suffering just like before.
That's about what difference you can expect.
Nonetheless, they look cool, feel better when accellerating, and won't make you any slower.
