best training wheelset?dave11

I need a set of training wheels to save wear on my newest set of bontrager race x-lites, to keep them from getting beat up by Michigan potholes. I would also like to use them in a couple races that have long gravel/cobble sections. Weigh 175, 6'2". Any suggestions?

Of course, I don't want to spend a lot. I can get cosmos for $200, would they work or would I trash them? (se below)

Aeroheads or OPs on your hub of choice?Kerry

Of course, the Cosmo is basically an OP on a MAVIC hub, so for $200, you're pretty much there.

i had a pair of heliums which are essentially the same thing as the cosmos and i hated them. hard to keep in true. i am pretty much your same height/weight. i'd go w/ the 32h open pros laced to standard ultegra (assuming shimano) hubs. they're light enough and also very strong, most places online have the set for around or under $200.
thanks for the infodave11
