Selle Italia Fluid Saddle....(2 posts)

Selle Italia Fluid Saddle....DINOSAUR
Apr 23, 2003 11:03 AM
It's new toy time for my bike. I know saddles are a matter of riders preference, but how does the Fluid saddle compare to the Flite Gel or regular Flite? How durable is the cover? That is my main complaint about the Selle Italia saddles along with the short eating ebroidery. I don't have a major problems with saddles in general, but I've been mulling over the Fluid saddle for awhile. Any users?

I bought a Selle Italia Fluid saddle a month ago as an experiment on my indoor trainer bike and found it very uncomfortable. I also tried it on my secondary road bike and didn't like it. I think the construction and durability are fine it just didn't fit my butt. For comparison, I have a Flite (non gel) on my mountain bike and like it just fine.
