does anyone else use sealskinz waterproof gloves and socks for wet weather situations? i just looked at the local forcast which calls for rain for the next 10 days and just couldn't resist. i like riding in the rain, but i have to admit that wet hands and feet (especially hands) can be really aggravating and dangerous. the hands get so cold that they stiffen up and it's harder to brake on descents.

has this solved anyone else's rain problems?

I use another brand of Goretex socks for commuting. It's a great solution for me. Booties might be ok with cold weather, but for regular old cool & wet weather, booties are overkill for me. Sealskinz/Goretex socks are also windproof, so they help in the cool/wet in that regard too. The one issue for mine is that they are a bit tight, so ciculation is a little cramped. Over a long ride, that could be worse than wet toes.
