Ksyrium Elites or Ritchey DS wheelset. ??Kompact

These are my 2 choices based on price here in Australia. The Ritcheys are slightly cheaper and approx 100 grams lighter than the Mavics. The Ritcheys are built with WCS deep section rims (OCR Rear), WCS Hubs and DT NewAero spokes. There are no reviews for the Ritchey hubs on this site so I am not sure of their quality. I am currently running Mavic Cosmos, so I guess either of these sets will be an improvement.

A "standard" wheel set offers comparable performance at significantly lower prices. A 28 spoke Record/Aerohead or Record/OP will weigh about the same, be about as aerodynamic, be readily maintained by any good bike shop, and cost significantly less. Unless you are concerned about "looks" over performance, there's not much incentive to go with either of these wheels.
