Scratch on my carbon fork [oops]tookie

I just put a small nick/scratch in my carbon fiber fork whn i was loading it on a friend's roof rack. I thought I read somewhere that you could seal such a scratch up and keep the fibers from getting tweaked w/ clear nail polish. Does this sound right?
How deep?Kerry

If you can see fibers broken, you want to get that puppy sealed up (nail polish works) ASAP, and then keep an eye on it. It's called a stress riser. If it's just the clear coat, then probably no issues, though you can nail polish for good looks.
