Does anyone know, actually know, if Dura-Ace shifters can be used sucessfully with Ultegra front derailluers?

Sorry, I should have stated that my question is: can Dura-Ace triple shifters be used with an Ultegra triple front derailluer? I'm gettin old!

and it works great.

According to my LBS, the D/A Der is designed for the 13 tooth drop from the 52 chainring to the 39. Since I wanted a slightly different arrangement, (50/39/28), he felt that the Ultegra would actually work better (in his experience). After about 1200 miles, it still shifts perfectly.

Been working OK for me fo two seasons now. My 105 shifters died and I got a deal on the D/A. Std ultegra front deraileur and cranks. Worked with 52/43/30 or even a 24t inner ring for mountain hillclimbs. NP.
