|Does anyone know what series the Shimano part number SI3000A (might be SL3000A) relates to? ie Sora, 105, Ultegra, etc... It's probably from the mid 90's.

|The part number seems hopelessly vague, but if you give a detailed description of the part, I'm willing to bet that the memories here can tell you exactly what it is.|

|This site is great for Shimano parts (post 1982). It's in German, but easy enough to use for not German speakers.

|My guess.... Shift Lever Exage 300. Light Action, early nineties.
Is it a shift lever you are asking about? If so it's most likely from the old Exage line that had a 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 level group. Then they had 105, 600 and Dura-Ace. That is about early 90's or so. You can always send an email to Shimano America. They have always been good about replying to any questions I asked them, but they were usually repair or parts info requests from a shop I work at, but give it a try.
