mavic cosmic carbone vs carbone ssc info?jeff27

I tried checking the reviews and did a search, but
didn't come up with a lot. Anybody know the main
difference between the cosmic carbone and the
cosmic carbone ssc? Is it a weight difference?
I bought a used set of cosmic carbones a year ago
and haven't had any problems. Yes, they are heavy,
but they roll really smooth and what doesn't kill
you makes you stronger, maybe ; ). Just curious
if anybody has any insight into this. Thanks in
advance. jeff

Though the SSC may have the newer FTS hub, capable of converting to ED10.

The original Cosmic Carbone wheels had silver spokes, 16 front and rear. The SSC model has black spokes, 16 front and 20 rear.

Also, the SSC model uses the lighter FTS-L rear hub that was introduced in 2001.
