Stems - O/S with +10 or more rise?fallzboater
Apr 8, 2003 8:44 PM
I'm looking for a 31.7 stem with some rise, at least +10 deg (ride small frame for my leg length). Would also like fairly light and reasonable price and, ideally, silver rather than black. Any suggestions?

Just about every -10 degree stem is reversible to +10 degree. If looks are a concern, make sure you get one with reversible lettering so it doesn't look "upside down."

The only thing more extreme that is widely available would be those Ritchey +/-17 degree stems.

I checked the Ritchey site, their +/-17 is only in 26.0 clamp. I'd love to find a +15 or so O/S.

Thanks! Also Specialized Teamfallzboater

The other one I found is the Specialized Team stem, which has angled shims and an insert that can be rotated 180 degrees to vary the rise angle. Retail price is only $30, and the advertised weight is the same as the Bontrager. Anybody try this stem?
