Which lasts longer: Michelin CARBONS or KEVLARSRide-Fly
Apr 8, 2003 7:39 PM
looking for a tire to put on my bike that I ride on the road as well as on my trainer. So I don't want to go on the real cheap and buy Cheng Shin plastics. does anyone have any idea which of the 2 tires, Michelin Axial Carbons or the Axial Kevlars has better wear characteristics?? Any noticable ride characteristics?? Thanks and Ride ON!!!

The Carbon's have a slick tread, whereas the Kevlar's have a fine file tread, so would go for the carbon's myself on this basis, plus the Kevlar's can't match the performance of the carbon's in a month of Sunday's.
