They don't get into it in the article. But it's light enough that some pro is willing to race on it. So it can't be that bad, huh?

I read this in the article. "Most of the components are carbon fiber, and as a result is slightly lighter than a conventional Record group - despite the battery pack, which looks like a short hand pump next to the bidon cage. The gear and brake levers are very similar to the standard Record levers, albeit a little smaller. The reason is that it is ergonomic, and it works." It appears to me the system is actually lighter than conventional Record.

Hi All

I think the real questions is - How much More does it cost? I hear that it will be at least twice as much as the current Record group..and if it includes the carbon cranks...yipes!!!

And as for when it is coming out...i hear a certain Japanese company is releasing a new top end 10 speed group...and I am sure Campy will use this group as a marketing coup against it...

Look out for component wars!

Cheers All

1.Check resistance in potentiometer in lever at different speeds.Check at connection going to rear derailleur. If good problem is is rear derailluer.
2.Apply voltage to the rear derailleur see if motor works in both directions.
