I've read some time that WD40 is bad, why is that ?

Pierre, use any dry chain lube. I use Finishline about once a week. It doesn't do anything for the release or float. It does make getting in the pedal easier plus it helps with cleat life. I believe the problem with WD-40 is that there's very little lubricant actually in it, plus it may not be a dry lube and atract dirt.
