I am looking to upgrade older hood style chorus 8 ergos's to 9 speed (working with a 2000 9s rd). Right lever only.

Saw a post a few weeks ago....

Branford bike offers a rebuild/upgrade service.

I rebuilt my 1990 Chorus right lever - it had the broken post problem that 1999 Ergos are known for. Well, I finally got that slotted end of the bushing to engage with the male end of the bolt while all the springs were tensioned!!!!! It shifts great! And the new Ergo brain works too! But, if faced with that again, I would probably have Branford do it next time...
