Anything that's got a double action, i.e. Blackburn AS-1 Airstick.

Blackburn has a lifetime warranty which is nice. The pumps don't last forever but the warranty does.

I carry one along with a CO2 shooter. Seat the tire with the mini pump and use CO2 to fill. Pump available in case of a second flat.

Used to just carry the mini but hate to make friends wait while I pump up the tire (over 100 strokes with a AS-1).

Those who have pumped up flats with a real frame pump are often not satisfied with mini pumps. An awful lot of pump strokes and very hard to get to full pressure. Full frame pump like a Silca will not weigh much more and will get you back on the road much quicker. You pays your money and takes your chances.

of course!.......wot u say is correct, a pump, be it mini or framefit is there as a back up aid to get u back home.

farme fits r 10x better than mini's, just a case of where 2 put one if u've two cages fitted, me i used to fit mine on the back triangle with a velcro strap, granted it rubs against the tyre through wheel flex etc but rubs a groove onto the pump after a few rides, so no worries after that.
