|They're so super cool, but new. Haven't heard the opinion of anyone who uses them.|

|Maybe weasel a used demo pair for my shop but just got an answering machine. They look slick and a few of my teamates have also expressed interest but it's tough to bite the $$$$ bullet and be the guinea pig.|

|I tried calling as well. No luck. But today they finally responded to my email after two weeks. Here's what they said:
I apologize for the delay in responding.
We are in the middle of updating the ORB pedals for a new evolution release; things have been busy.
About your questions...
The 170 pounds is a conservative limit. We are conducting stress analysis testing now, and will update the limit with an absolute number once the testing is complete.
Riding in the rain will not hurt the pedals. The polymer bearings are water proof and self-lubricating. So, nothing rusts, and no grease or lubricant is needed.
The current cleats have a stainless steel inner core, surrounded by a 2" round, donut shaped disc. The plastic disc provides a soft walking surface and plenty of platform for long rides. The plastic is softer than a typical look cleat. So, it does wear slightly faster than a Look cleat. We are currently prototyping harder versions of plastic. We will ultimately offer 2 versions, the soft (high performance) cleat and the harder (durable, training) cleat.
Thanks for your interest in M2RACER products. Let me know if you have any other questions.
