ONE MORE IMPORTANT QUESTIONwolfereeno

I need one thing clarified. Does a spacer go before the first set of chain rings? Ie, between the hub and the back of the largest set of cogs?!

Thanks!
Further clarifying my questionwolfereeno

There was an additional spacer ring on my old Cosmo wheel in back of the whole cassette. There doesn't seem to be room for it on my Rolf Vector Pro wheel. The part of the hub with the splines is about 1 spacer shorter on the Rolf. Everything seems (obviously I've never done this before) to fit correctly without this spacer.
