8-Speed Campy rear derailleur -- Looking for a part?Rob in NH

Hey all, newbie here so go easy :)

I have an 8-speed Campy Record gruppo on my 96 Ciocc that has ben running great from day one, I love it. However just yesterday as I took off the pulleys on the rear d, I noticed the threads in the back part of the cage were stripped.

Is it safe to assume that I need a new plate, the hole in question probably can't be tapped or anything.

Also, where in the world would i go about trying to locate a part like that? Called every LBS in 100 miles of my place and no dice yet.

Any help would be great, and here's a couple pics of the derailleur.

Thanks in advance,
RP

I think you are talking about the pulley screw holes. They may be 5mm. I have a 5mm helicoil kit if you are in the DC area. Check the size before you search for the kit.
