|I'll be finishing up assembling my first full Campy bike. I will post pictures later today.
I've read several posting about Campy cassette creak, should I put my Chorus cassette on the Chorus hub dry or lightly grease the freehub surface?
Thanks for the help!
|I don't know. But, I lightly greased mine. YMMV. nm||Spunout|

|I lightly greased mine too. I've found the biggest cause of a creak is the cassette not tightened down enough.|

|In many cases the creaking is caused by movement between riveted cogs and the carriers and rivets w/ paired cogs, grease on the freehub will not help this.|

|a good mechanic at the LBS finally tracked the noise down for me. Cleaned the cassette real good and applied loctite to the rivets. Noise went away and never came back.
Never greased the freehub myself.
