I just bought Shimano cycle computer, Flightdeck. When i mounted it I wanted the computer to be infront of the stem (ITM Millenium), but since the "arm" is to short it's not possible.
I have seen e.g. Eurosport that the prof have the computers in front of the stem or at the bar.
I wonder if someone knows if Shimano or other company have a longer arm that will make the computer be in front of the stem?!

|How do you have it set up? Can't you just attach the arm to the bar, placing it in front of the stem? I don't get your problem...|

I want to get the computer in front of th bar, now it's right above it. I think Campas computer, can be mounted in front of the bar beacuse the arm i longer.
The arm on the shimano is to short, so the computer can not mounted in front of the bar and stem so that you get a line. I can mount i more to the right but then it just takes place.
Hope this makes it clearer

|I've had two mounting brackets. My original mount was too short also. The next year I switched to the 31.7 mm handlebars and had to special order a new mounting bracket. The new bracket was much longer and works fine. BTW, the new bracket did not fit my old mount and I had to file it down to get it to work.|| |
