Max seatpost insertion....asphalt assault

Is there any problem with having your post in the frame beyond the "max insertion" line? (more post IN the frame)

It's an Easton carbon MTB post I'm using it in a ti road frame.

Thanks!

This is the address for Easton's installation instructions. From the little that I read, the issue may be the lack of a relief along the back side of the post. This relief helps to keep the seat tube from pinching and damaging the post.

I am pretty sure the Easton post is marked with a minimum and maximum insertion line, because between the two lines there is a recession to avoid pinching of the carbon at the seat clamp. So no, I would not clamp it beyond the max insertion line.
