|Is there any problem with having your post in the frame beyond the "max insertion" line? (more post IN the frame)
It's an Easton carbon MTB post I'm using it in a ti road frame.

This is the address for Easton's installation instructions. From the little that I read, the issue may be the lack of a relief along the back side of the post. This relief helps to keep the seat tube from pinching and damaging the post.

|I am pretty sure the Easton post is marked with a minimum and maximum insertion line, because between the two lines there is a recession to avoid pinching of the carbon at the seat clamp. So no, I would not clamp it beyond the max insertion line.|| |
