Has anyone ever used these rims?

How do they compare to the respective Mavic model. Based on price they should be similar to the Mavic MA3.

I'm 6'1" and 240lbs and I built a set of wheels with these rims. They are 32 hole laced 3x with 14g spokes on Ultegra hubs. Pricewise they compare to the MA3 but they weight as much as Open Pros. I paid about $50.00 for a pair.

The Alex rims were not as easy as the Open Pros to build up but it wasn't that difficult. Just take your time. Once I had the wheels properly tensioned in my truing stand I could literally feel a "waviness" in the rims. Visually they spun straight and true. I have over 1000 miles on these rims with only a little tweaking here and there. If the "waviness" bothers you I suggest going for the Open Pros. Better safe than sorry.
