I dont having a computer on my bars. seems to be more comfortable esp when climbing. I wouldnt use one 'if i didnt have to'
Is there anything made that allows the computer to be mounted in front of the stem? Kinda like the wireless flight deck set up.

|I haven't ever seen one, but it wouldn't be hard to cobble something up. Quickest fix I can think off offhand would be to mount it on the stem, but you'd have to read it sideways unless you fiddled some way to turn it 90 degrees. If you're not too concerned about a finished appearance, something like a hose clamp (or tape) holding a bracket bent up from stout wire or a thin metal rod would work. You could fasten it to the head tube. Or you could start either with one of those book racks you use with trainers or a stem-mount water bottle cage (they attach similarly), hack that up and bend things around until it was right.
Or maybe somebody knows where you can buy a mount for three bucks...

|If you can get your hands on one of these
and cut down an old MTB bar (or even aluminium tubing), you could make one similar to that pictured here.
The pictures are a little lacking, but I think you can get the idea.
Be the bike.

|Colorado Cyclist has them for $9.99. I use it as I can't get a normal computer mount on my oversized Deda bars. It works like a radiator hose clamp and attaches to your stem. It's a $.50 part that goes for ten bucks, but it works...|

|And if you happen to run a Sigma already, they sell the stem mount separately.
I just picked up a Targa from Performance for $14 or so - they're blowing out the old to make way for the new style Sigma - very pretty.
