Buying a new bike, about what is my TCR worth? X-postyellowpearlz

I'm not posting this in a cheap attempt to sell my bike. I am, however, inquiring as to *about* how much I could expect to get for my 2002 TCR 2 with Cane Creek Aerohead Team Ti wheels and an SLR 135 gram saddle (the only two upgrades). The bike comes in at 17.9lbs, and has at the most, 400 miles on it. The reason I ask is, I'm looking at buying a Klein roadie... and am trying to determine what I can comp. from this one (I'm tight on money). Thanks for any and all opinions,
~mdh

Well, it depends on what you mean by sell it. If you were to sell it person to person, $800-$1000. About the same price for an online classifide(maybe slightly more) If you go the ebay route you could expect $1100-$1500 (again. maybe more.) I'd give you about $300 for it. (Hey, I'm really tight on cash.)

The rodent without a road bike.

I'd do some searching around on e-bay and classifieds. I sold my Bianchi Champione 6 months ago. When I asked a similar question here I was told $2-$300. I put it on e-bay and sold it for $600+. The responses you get here shouldn't be the ONLY source you consider... they tend to be on the low end. Good Luck!!
i sold mine on ebay for $900.00 2 months ago nmJas0n
