125mm stem? cant find a good one.ekdave

looking for a 125mm stem. Prefer black (hey, what can I say!)

also would like 4 bolt front or 2 bolt, but only if its 2 large bolts.

I have found a 125mm from Cinelli (Solido) but it uses 2 very small face plate bolts (Ti even - yikes!) and I just cant stomach that.

anyways, thanks for any help. Lightweight (under 170g) is a plus too.
120 or 130 is the convention. nmSpunout

The only other 125mm stem I can think of is the 3T Zepp. It is basically the same stem as the Cinelli Solido (both owned by Columbus), with 2 Ti bolts on the face plate.

For security and hassle-free operation, you could simply replace the Ti bolts with stainless steel. This will greatly reduce the chances of the bolts galling or seizing in the stem. They are easy enough to find at any good hardware store or nut/bolt house. But I would still be careful to mind the recommended torque specs, otherwise you might strip the threading in the stem.

The ITM colnago ergostem comes in a 125mm length and has an adjustable shim.

The new model has a four bolt front while the older model has a two bolt front design
