|FSA K-Force Carbon Seatpost ?||Tahoe Gator|

|Looking to get a new seatpost, something with a bit more setback, and figured might as well go carbon to dampen my stiff frame a bit (Klein Quantum). Challenge is finding one with 31.6 mm diameter. Easton EC70 will work, but thinking of maybe something different. FSA has a 31.6 mm carbon post at 175 grams. No ratings in the reviews. Any knowledge appreciated.|

|Don't forget that USE has shims for 25.0 and 27.2 to most sizes so you aren't that limited. Also, I had 2 Easton posts that the surface was very soft where the binder bolt wedge created dents. This wouldn't be as much of a problem with a ring-clamp type but would still create ridges in the surface.

|You haven't seen any reviews yet, most likely because it hasn't been released to the public yet. I just built a new bike and when I was on the phone with FSA ordering my cranks, I asked about the FSA Wing bar and Carbon stem. The rep told me that stuff wasn't ready yet and wouldn't come out until mid-march. I would have to assume the the new seatpost is in the same boat.
Also, if you are looking to dampen your frame, you may be better off with a Ti post instead. I would fully recommend a Moots post with the setback. But you will have to order a shim to adapt it to your frame. Just order the 27.2 post and get the right shim and you are good to go. I had to do the same thing with my new Pinarello Prince, but I don't regret it.
