For this season my collegiate chose to contact Leader to sponsor us. We chose to contact them based on the strength of their product reviews here on RBR and MTBR, and also based on the quality service we received in speaking to Sal one of the owners of the company. They know their stuff about bikes, and I am looking forward to getting our guys on their frames. We purchased three 715-R, one 780-R, and one 515 mtn frame. I am really anxious to receive the frames and give them a good once over, but from everything I've heard about them and from them, tells me that I should only expect the best. I'll give you a more complete update when they arrive. They should be here on Friday. Give them a call they are good to talk to. (619)425-6452

I bought a 715-R last year and built it with Ultegra components. Now have about 1,000 miles on it and have had no problems at all with the frame. For the money, its a well built frame.
The only negative is that the decals are just stickers on top of the finish coat and they look it too. I just took off most of them and it makes the bike easier to clean.
The 2002 model used a 1" headtube, but I see that they have now gone to a 1 1/8", so there are a lot more choices for headsets, forks, etc. I bought the Leader 1" fork, but never felt comfortable with it, so I switched it for a Kestrel.
As the other post said, they are very responsive to questions, so give them a call.
