I am positive that trek pays lance to ride his trek.
It all started with some stuff a few posts down.
check it out the stupid mario huffy commit I made.
Does any one out there have proof.
Need FACTS here.

Lance gets paid to ride for USPS.
Lance gets paid to pose with his Trek.
Lance gets his Trek for free.
Most pros get bikes for free.
Pros who ride for a factory team get paid by the company, mostly seen in MTB racing. Usually sponsorship is limited to providing 1-5 bikes per rider.
