a friend has stripped the threads on one of the mounting bolt holes on his ttt bio-arm aerobars. what are his options?

drill it out and use a nutsert or similar.jw25

Check out The Third Hand for a good selection of thread repair products (in metric sizes, which can be hard to find).
www.thethirdhand.com (their website's a pain to search, though).

Helicoil makes repair kits for both metric and inch threads. The issue is buying only one insert and the drill & tap. You can buy kits with 12 inserts for $25. Eastwood also sells some insert kits that might be the right thread.
