Brakes with nutted bolt attachments?(3 posts)

Brakes with nutted bolt attachments?MLCrisis

I'm building up a nice old Raleigh road frame. I need some modest brakes with "medium" reach (I measured 49mm) that will attach to the frame/fork with radiused washers and old-style nutted bolts (NOT recessed allen nots). I've spotted some stuff on Ebay, but would like to buy new if available. Does anyone know if these can be found NOS or brand new anywhere?

I think I saw some, or at least the hardware for them (sorry; didn't pay much attention) in the Rivendell catalog--Web site is www.rivendellbicycles.com. Also, www.loosescrews.com is a good source of stuff like that. They reorganized a year or so ago and got rid of a lot of inventory, but it's worth a try.
might be some NOS ones heredesmo
