Im toying with the idea of going to FSA team issue cranks. Question is...do I have to use the FSA chainrings or can I use my shimano. If they are interchangeable, is there an advantage to either?

Totally interchangeable, the FSA Team Issue for Shim compatable comes in a 130mm BCD, will work with either. personally, I'd go with neither, get the TA Specialties Hegoa chainrings, they shift better than anything out there and are very light.

I've got the team cranks and they shift very nicely. Just as nice as the durace cranks I had last season.

...FSA Team Issue with Shimano Buzz Saw...

Interesting to note... FSA is now advertising a big ring with a lenticular profile (lens shaped improves aerodynamics over flat (most notably used on disc wheels)). Considering the amount of turbulance incurred in the area of the crankarms... wonder what the real world gains would be...???

Be the bike.

Could I get one of those as a spare blade for my chop saw?
