|Bibshorts for men - highest chamois in front?||sodade|

|I have this problem with the chamois on shorts not coming up far enough in the front. Must have something to do with my anatomy 'cause I am averagely "endowed," but every performance bibshort I have tried has too low of a chamois in the front and invariably during a ride, I end up on the fricking seam - not good! I bought some of the low end Assos shorts and they are much better, but I don't really like the chamois material 'cause I have to use tons of cream on them and it makes me sweat and stick. I bought a pair of the high end Castellis and, while I love the chamois, they have the same problem with not coming up high enough in the front. Can anybody recommend alternate shorts that I can try?
p.s. I am 5'11'' 150ish lbs
Thanks in advance

|Yup - I got a pair of these too - same problem + the chamois felt like a big lumpy diaper. At least they weren't too much $|

|I've always had the same problem you have. The best bibs with high chamois I found so far has been the Santini CX bibs followed by Assos, Colorado Cyclist's, Castellis, and Nalini (in that order). And you definately want to avoid Voler (despite their otherwise excellent bibs). Hope this helps.|
|Thanks, that's just the info I was looking for! -nt-||sodade|

|Maybe you're buying them too big. I'm 2 inches shorter than you and use the Performance shorts in medium. Voler has the same chamois, but they run a little smaller (shorter). I have plenty of room in the Performance. The Voler are a bit snug.
Medium in Performance should fit you. In Voler, probably large.
Try the large Voler. They're nice shorts -- esp for the money. They send a prepaid postal bag so if they don't fit well, you can drop them in a mailbox and return them hassle free.
