Does it work? Will it work without any probs? Should I return the short cage rear mech sent to me as part of my groupset for a medium cage as recommended by Campag (I did order a medium - the shop messed up)?

Thanks
Trade it in for the med. cage...Spunout

The short cage will work, as long as your chain is kept long enough. But, will result in some slack down the cassette. I'm sure it works for most, but to be safe and sure, go medium.

The short cage will work fine--just adjust the "b" tension screw so that the upper pulley is in the right position. The medium cage is the ideal set up--save up and change derailleurs at your next chain replacement interval.
