can i switch from an ulegra double to a campy triple front?arc

i have a ultegra double with ultegra sti shifters. my rear derailleur is a triple already. i have a sachs pc 89 chain.
can i switch the double crank for a campy model? are the shifters compatible? is bottom bracket width an issue?
thanks

Will need new Campy triple BB and Ergo shifter for the front.

Can probably use a ultegra triple front drailer and just switch out the crank and BB.But why bother unless you can get the campy stuff roe near nothing.

i can get the crankset (campy racing-t) and a 111mm bottom bracket for $60. someone swapped it out for a double.
will the ultegra shiftesrfront /derailleur work ok with the campy ring spacing? anyone tried this?

an ultegra triple shifter would handle it, but I wouldn't be so sure if a double would.

9 speed ultegra shifters handle BOTH a double or a tripple with same unit.
I meant front D, not STIs, sorry! nmweiwentg
