prob: Buzzing in Mavic Cosmo front wheelwolfereeno

I've been trying to find a buzzing sound, noticable when going over bumps or rough roads, on my front end. I thought it was cables, the plastic shift tabs on my Ultegras, etc. But I've isolated it to the front wheel which is a Mavic Cosmo. When I take off the wheel and bounce it or even whack it with my hand, there's a buzzing vibration. The spokes seem tight. The wheel's totally true. Any suggestions?

I can't say for sure if this is your cause, but a common source of this is the nut that sometimes holds the valve stem in place. Remove it completely and see what happens.
