|I'm in the market for a new set of racing wheels and have heard nothing but good things about Dave's Wheels. Question is, does anyone have some pics of his wheels? Couldn't seem to find any on his site. Of course, opinions on his wheels are also very welcome.|

|I respond to everyone who asks this question because I've had such a terrific experience with Dave Thomas. Great wheels, great service, all of it. I ride a lot and these wheels are light, true, and warranteed. No pics currently, but when I get home tonight, I'll take a few if I remember. You can choose color of rim, color of spoke, and color of nipple, so what you see and what you choose can be two different things.

|For general hardcore riding. No racing but love to climb and go on long rides. I weigh around 160#.

|about 155 lbs (er, um, that's pre-season weight) too. I'm really a Cat 5 kind of recreational racer who also loves long rides and a good climb. Really, I sound like a paid spokesman for the guy, but I can't say enough about the quality and the service. Just spoke with him the other day about turning my shimano hub into a Campy compatible hub and he was helpful. He's the guy who answers the phone when you call too.

|I got the aerolight's 16 spoke front, 24 spoke back with the Am. Classics hubs. They are great. Come in around 1400g (Dave weighs em right before he ships em.) I've probably put around 15-20K miles on them. I have never done anything too harsh, but they have not been babied either.|

|I've got a set of the aerolights and am happy with them. I paid a few bucks extra for the black spokes. For the money, they're a great deal. They're not exotic looking -- they look like a regular wire wheel.|| |
